Making a bracket
Put one player or team on each line, best first if you are seeding them, or choose Random shuffle for a fair draw. In an elimination bracket the field is filled up to the next power of two with byes, and the byes go to the top seeds, so with six players seeds 1 and 2 go straight through to round 2. Seed 1 and seed 2 are placed in opposite halves and can only meet in the final.
Playing it through
Tap a name to mark that side the winner, and it moves on to its next match. Tap it again to undo; anything that depended on that result is cleared too. Turn on Scores to note each result. In double elimination a first loss sends a player to the losers' bracket and a second knocks them out; the losers' champion meets the winners' champion in the grand final, and if the losers' champion wins it, a reset match decides the title.
Round robin
Everyone plays everyone once, scheduled into rounds by the circle method so each player has one game a round; with an odd number, one player rests each round. Mark a winner or a draw and the table updates: three points for a win, one for a draw, then wins and the score difference to split a tie.
Questions
How do I share or save a bracket?
The whole bracket, results included, is kept in the page's address. Press Copy link and send it, or bookmark it; opening the link brings it back as it was. Nothing is stored anywhere else, so a link someone changes after you send it does not change yours.
How many players can it take?
Up to 64 in a bracket and 32 in a round robin. Past about 16 the bracket is wider than a phone screen; it scrolls sideways inside its box.
Can I print it or put it in a group chat?
Yes. Print fits the bracket to the page, and landscape suits a big one. Export PNG saves a picture of it to share.
