Your files
Your files stay on your computer. Every conversion runs in your browser, using code the page already downloaded. You drop a file in, it gets converted in memory, you download the result.
There's no server to upload to. Wizard Toolbox is a pile of static files - nothing here receives anything. Close the tab and it's gone.
Which means if anyone ever comes asking for your files - a court order, a hacked database, whatever - there's nothing to hand over.
What's stored on your device
Five things, a sixth only if you ask, and none of them leaves your machine. First, whether you left the What can I convert? panel open: a single entry in your browser's local storage so the panel stays how you left it when you move between pages. Second, the last few tools you opened, so the home page can offer them under Jump back in. Third, if you drop a file on the home page, your browser holds it for a moment in its own storage (IndexedDB) so the converter can open it on the next page. The converter takes it straight back out and deletes it. Fourth, if you use the Resume Builder, the resume you are writing, so it is still there when you come back; its Clear button wipes it. Fifth, your best scores in the reaction time, CPS and aim tests, as a few numbers, so they can be shown next time. Sixth, only if you tick Remember on this device in Sign PDF: the signature you made, as a picture in local storage, so it is ready next time. Untick the box and it is deleted. Clear your site data for wizardtoolbox.com and all of it is gone.
No cookies. No tracking pixels. No fingerprinting. No third-party scripts of any kind. Even the fonts are hosted here instead of pulled from Google, so loading a page doesn't tell anyone else you did.
What the site collects
Nothing. No analytics, no error reporting, no mailing list, no forms, no logs.
What Cloudflare sees
The site's hosted on Cloudflare. Any host has to receive your request before it can send a page back, and that request carries your IP address, the page you asked for, and your browser's user agent. Every site on the internet works this way. It happens before any of my code runs.
Cloudflare handles that as the host, under their own privacy policy. I don't keep visitor logs and I don't go looking at that. It's also got nothing to do with your files, since those are never part of any request.
Kids
Nothing is collected from anyone, so nothing is collected from children either. There's no account to make and nothing to fill in.
Your data
There's nothing held here to send you, correct, or delete. If you want that in writing, email me.
If this changes
Wizard Toolbox is free and might run ads one day to stay that way. Ads mean somebody else's code running on these pages, which would change a fair bit of what's written above.
If that happens I'll rewrite this page before it goes live, not after. The part about your files isn't changing. That's the whole point of the site.
